As part of Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, in Playgroup we have been exploring our feelings and emotions. We have been reading the book "Sometimes I Feel Sunny" by  Gillian Shields and Georgie Birkett. You can find the book being read on YouTube here

We have been exploring our feelings and emotions and how to use different coping tools by "stomping out dinosaur sized feelings". More information on sensory activities can be found by clicking here.

At Playgroup we are drawing faces to match the emotion the people in this activity are feeling.

Together, we are thinking about and discussing different feelings and talking about how and why we feel different emotions.

The theme of this years Children's Mental Health Week is "Express Yourself". For further information on how to get you and your child involved or for advice and support regarding Children's mental health please click here
